How does this university use SAT scores?
SOAS’s general USA guidance lists SAT 1380 with diploma GPA 3.6 for AAA, 1340 with GPA 3.5 for AAB, 1300 with GPA 3.4 for ABB, and 1280 with GPA 3.3 for BBB. Course pages also publish different combinations, including AP requirements; check the exact programme and offer type.

Match the programme and qualification route
The general table and course pages list several routes, including alternatives without SAT. The additional course combinations differ from the general bands: do not mix their GPA, SAT and AP conditions or assume that the lowest score is sufficient for every applicant. International Relations lists ABB with a BBB contextual offer; Economics lists AAB with an ABB contextual offer. Ask SOAS which route and contextual eligibility apply to your qualification and intended entry year. These pages do not establish one universal SAT threshold for all courses.
