What does a 1300 SAT mean here?
In the published 2026–27 rate table, SAT 1300 and GPA 3.50 fall in the SAT 1260–1320, GPA 3.25+ row: $6,000 per year, subject to admission and the school’s scholarship terms.
Full tuition at a higher SAT band does not cover every cost. Housing is a separate first-year award with additional conditions.
Academic Excellence Scholarships: SAT and scholarship amounts
For a GPA of 3.0–3.24, the school uses a different SAT-to-award table. At GPA 3.25+, SAT 1420–1600 corresponds to full tuition, which is not the same as full cost of attendance. First-year housing also requires GPA 3.6+, SAT 1420+, and living on campus.

Can an international freshman receive this award?
The international freshman application page says SAT or ACT scores are needed for Freshman Merit Scholarship consideration. The scholarship office states that its scholarships are open to international students who meet requirements. The academic award is for high-school seniors admitted and entering in the fall directly after graduation.
